The prosecutor, a farmer in the parish of Crich, observed the prisoner loitering about his premises after he had done his days work, on the 12th of January, he missed a loaf, and went to the prisoners fathers and charged him with stealing the loaf, the prisoner acknowledged he had taken it; and said where it was; some had been cut off; the prisoner pleaded want;

Guilty, but recommended to mercy, To be imprisoned one month, and kept to hard labour.
